He did it!  Ryan actually was able to keep a suprise 30th birthday party from me on this small base!  I am amazed.  Kim, Ella, Jamie and Tammie were in on the planning and Ella hosted it for me!  Jamie even made custom invitations for it.

Over 30 people showed up.  The food was amazing and people were SO generous!  We had two cakes from my favorite Korean bakery and everyone made my favorite dishes (Several of Paula Dean’s dishes were prevalent!)

Ryan also surprised me with a homemade birthday card and diamond earings…  Woo hoo! (I guess this made up for him not getting me anything for Mother’s Day)…  He is an amazing man!

I’ve known since we’ve been here how fortunate we are.  We have such great friends and are so blessed!  It’s hard to believe that we’ve already been in Korea for almost 10 months!

It keeps getting bigger and bigger! She does eat a lot of ice cream, but she also takes me on a lot of walks. Hmm… I can’t figure it out. I also hear people telling them that their lives are going to change in ways they can’t even imagine. Then they say the same thing about me. They say that I am going to be “second”… What do they mean by that???

WHAT IS GOING ON??? Am I going to like the change? Is it a new toy for me??? Will I still get treats?
