Cormac is SEVEN weeks old!

Can you believe it?!  He’s already seven weeks old!  Grandma and Grandpa Fowler are here spoiling him still and he’s already worried about them leaving because he will be sad.

Our Little Man- 7 weeks old!

Yesterday we went to the Pavillion and had a picnic.  Linda packed homemade chicken salad and a bunch of other goodies and Ryan met us.  Duke was even allowed to go.  It was a perfect fall day and Ryan and I want to start meeting for picnic lunches more often.

Hey you milk, get in my belly…

If any of you are Austin Powers fans, you will get the reference of the Title…

We weighed Cormac today- he’ll be 7 weeks on Weds and he weighed 11 1/2 lbs…

Look at those chubby cheeks

He’s been smiling more, watching you when you talk or walk around the room and he loves staring at the ceiling fan.  He’s a doll!  We are so in love!

Cormac’s Dedication

We had a dedication for Cormac at church today.  It was great!  He pretty much slept through the entire service and looked angelic.  He wore the gown that has been worn for generations and has everyone’s names embroidered in it.  He was so precious!  Chaplain Smith did a wonderful job and it was very touching that Bill and Linda were able to be there.

Cormac is SIX weeks old!

Can you believe it?  He’s already six weeks old!  He’s doing great!  He is waking only two times during the night and is pretty good during the day.  He has his fussy moments from time to time and I think they are growth spurts.  He also gets quite angry when he is hungry (I wonder where he gets that from??)…

Ryan dressed him in this outfit.  Cute clothes, but they DON’T match…

Cormac loves sleeping in Grandma’s arms

This week he has started smiling more, turning his head and focusing when you talk to him and playing more on his activity mat.  He now grabs toys and puts them in his mouth.

Mom’s Cinnamon Rolls

Bill mentioned that he LOVED cinnamon rolls, so I decided to make my mom’s “famous” ones.  She made two batches while she was visiting us and we were already craving them again.  I had to take a picture to show how delicious they looked.  Yummy!

Duke is SO spoiled!

Both my parents and Ryan’s parents came with several toys just for Duke.  Not to mention the multiple walks he’s been getting every day!

Here he is with one of his favorite new toys!

Watching football on a Friday morning

Bill and Linda came over early on Friday morning to watch the WVU Maryland game.  It was great!  Linda made breakfast and Ryan enjoyed watching football with Cormac on his lap.

Cormac’s shirt says, “WV fan since birth”- SO CUTE!

I weigh 10 lbs!

I’ve been secretly practicing how to type so I can begin my very own blog!  Mom, dad and Grandma and Grandpa took me to dad’s work today to weigh me and GUESS WHAT???  I weigh 10 lbs and I am 23 inches long!  Here is a good picture of me (if I do say so myself)…

I sort of have a double chin… Oh well…

Here is a picture of me with my mommy

I’m also starting to smile socially rather than just when I am content.  Today I smiled at daddy and then at Gregory at dad’s work.  I even laughed a little bit at him.  He’s a big guy and looks a little like a gorilla.

Cormac is SO spoiled!

Now Ryan’s parents are here and giving him TONS of attention!  They are also being super helpful.  Bill helped give him a bath yesterday and Linda has been cooking, cleaning, and changing diapers!  We are enjoying having them here!  They are wonderful!

Cormac in his Sunday’s Best

We ventured out to church today for the first time and it was great.  He slept during the entire service despite being quite cranky right before we left.   He always loved the music while he was still in the womb, so we think that he was soothed by the music and the message from the Chaplain.
